The Art of the Self-Portrait | Fridays | 2 – 4 pm

From the earliest cave paintings to selfies on our phones, the self-portrait is a foundational part of creating. Get started developing your own self-portraits with this online workshop at HCP! In this two-part workshop, students will be introduced to the art of self-modeling from the comfort of their homes. Additionally, students will experiment with natural light and on-hand items to create compelling self-portraits and characters. The course is formatted as a “Call-and-Response,” with examples and tips given at the first meeting and students presenting their work at the final meeting.
