Developing Your Photographic Voice Intensive | Saturdays | 1 pm – 3 pm

In these challenging times of social distancing and fear for our community, many of us are seeking creative outlets for processing our world. Brought to you by popular demand, HCP is pleased to announce a 4-session intensive for developing your artistic voice. Whether you are just getting started or are a seasoned professional, this intensive will inspire you to use photography for creative expression and intellectual reflection. In this short intensive, HCP instructor Lou Benjamin will work with you to sort through your personal experiences and interests to create new works of art that reflect your authentic voice. Students will expand their visual language, and understanding of photographic theory, and art history, as well as improve their photographic skills and knowledge of techniques.

This program is provided by Houston Center for Photography, a non-profit gallery, educational space, and publisher in Houston, Texas, in collaboration with Precision Camera, a premier online and brick-and-mortar retailer and photo lab based in Austin, Texas. Together through our new, online partnership, we will be bringing you virtual workshops spanning the creative to the technical, to ensure you can keep telling your story no matter where you find yourself.
